You actually can use this multi cooker MC388 to cook rice but it’s not recommended as there is no auto-cut feature so you have to make sure to have to keep watch when cooking rice as if you leave it for too long the rice might be charred.

2. May I know whether MC388 has boil dry protection / overheat protection feature?

Yes, this model MC388 has boil dry protection and overheat protection whereby once it reaches 250c, it will auto cut off then begin to reduce/drop gradually till 100c +/- to resume back the operation.

3. What is the heating element material of the bottom part?

The black part is made up of iron while grey part is aluminium.
